Coast of Maine
“I began to take photographs as a young boy with my first Hawkeye brownie Camera. In my twenties I moved up to a Nikon film camera. I remember the long delay of waiting for the photograph to be processed and then printed. It was exciting picking up the package at the camera store and looking through the pictures in hopes that one or two might have turned out the way I imagined them. Now I only use my iphone to take photographs. I love the spontaneity and the immediacy of seeing something that moves me and then I capture it with a click. I can review and discard and then improve on it.
I also am lucky to spend summers in Maine, where the light is magical and full of many different moods. Maine has become a source of serenity and creative inspiration. It gives me great pleasure to share my photos of Maine sunsets, wilderness and the changing light.”
